Verdal Frosted Leaf Chandelier

• 3 heads: Dia 35.4" x H 21.7" / Dia 90 cm x H 55 cm
• 6 heads: Dia 35.4" x H 21.7" / Dia 90 cm x H 55 cm
• Both configurations share the same 35.4" frame, so the guidance below applies at either head count
• Table width: fixture diameter plus 12" — suits a table at least 47" wide
• As a single central fixture: match room length plus width in feet to the fixture diameter in inches — at 35.4" this suits a room of about 35 ft combined, such as 17 x 18 ft
• Hanging height: bottom of fixture 30–36" above a dining table
• Minimum ceiling height: 8 ft — at 21.7" deep this sits comfortably above a standard table; add roughly 3" of drop for every foot of ceiling above 8 ft
• Over a floor or stair tread: keep the lowest point at least 7 ft above the walking surface

The Verdal Frosted Leaf Chandelier from Solae Design arranges hand-shaped frosted glass leaves around a warm gold frame, each one angled slightly differently so the fixture catches light from several directions at once. Switched off, it holds its own as a piece of botanical sculpture rather than sitting on the ceiling as dead weight waiting for evening to arrive.

Frosting is the reason the light behaves so gently. The etched surface removes filament glare entirely and turns each leaf into its own soft source, so the overall effect is diffused and harmonious rather than sparkling and busy. Two configurations are offered, three heads or six, in clear or blush pink glass, both built on the same 35.4 inch gold frame so the footprint stays consistent either way.

Sized for a dining table, a round entry hall, or a living room with height to spare above the seating. It takes standard E26 or E27 bulbs, LED or Edison, so the character of the light is yours to set. Each glass leaf is formed by hand and slight variation in curve and tone is characteristic of the material rather than a defect. Hardwired installation should be carried out by a licensed electrician following local codes.

• Body material: metal frame in warm gold finish
• Shade material: leaf-shaped frosted glass
• Finishes: gold with clear glass, or gold with pink glass
• Light source: LED bulb or Edison bulb
• Socket: E26 or E27
• Voltage: AC 110–240V
• Light distribution: fully diffused through frosted glass, no filament glare
• Mounting: hardwired to a ceiling junction box; licensed electrician recommended
• Care: dust the leaves with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents entirely
• Please note: each glass leaf is formed by hand, so slight variation in curve and tone is characteristic. Occasional re-leveling of individual leaves after installation is normal and easily done by hand
