The Portable Solar Handle Lantern is built to be picked up and moved. A curved stainless steel frame carries a soft white shade and an ergonomic handle, so the lamp goes where the evening goes — onto the table for dinner, down to the end of the garden afterwards, back under cover when the weather turns. The silhouette is deliberately quiet, closer to a sculptural object than a piece of garden hardware.

Two sizes cover different jobs. The smaller suits balconies, small patios, side tables and narrow paths, where its footprint stays out of the way. The larger has enough presence to hold a lawn, a wide terrace or an outdoor lounge setting on its own. Both give the same soft, diffused glow rather than a hard point of light, which is what makes them comfortable to sit beside rather than merely useful for seeing by.

Power comes entirely from the integrated solar panel, which charges through the day and lights the lantern automatically at dusk. Four to six hours of sun returns roughly eight to ten hours of light. A touch switch on the body handles manual control, and the lamp is compatible with a remote dimmer switch. The IP65-rated housing takes rain and irrigation in its stride, though it should never be immersed.
