The Opal Drop Pendant Light is a rounded acrylic globe that changes character the moment you switch it on. Unlit, it reads as a solid, saturated form in red, blue, gold or silver, sitting quietly against the ceiling like a piece of sculpture. Lit, the same shade turns translucent and pours a soft, even wash of light downward, with the colour warming rather than tinting the room. It is a simple idea, executed cleanly, and it is what makes this fixture worth looking at twice.

Six diameters run from a compact 7″ up to a substantial 31.5″, which makes the same design work in very different positions. The smaller globes suit a bedside, a stairwell or a run of three over a kitchen island. The larger ones are meant to hang alone, centred over a dining table or in an entry where a single confident shape carries the room. Four finishes give you the choice between a quiet metallic and a genuine hit of colour.

Choose the E26 / E27 socket if you want to pick your own bulb and dim the fixture, or the integrated 3000K LED if you would rather it arrive ready to hang. Either way the shade is moulded acrylic rather than glass, so it is lighter overhead, more forgiving in a busy room, and easier to live with over a table where things get knocked.
