Persimmon Oval Chandelier

An oval of hand-set glass persimmons on brass arms, the Persimmon Oval Chandelier is built from real metal and real glass, with the weight and balance to actually anchor a room rather than hover apologetically above it. It sits as comfortably over a traditional dining table as it does above a modern kitchen island, which is the entire point of the design. Solae Design inspects and balances every fixture before it ships.

Sloped and vaulted ceilings are handled straight out of the box, with no additional adapter to source. The hanging wire runs to fifty-nine inches and is meant to be shortened at installation, so the drop can be tuned to the actual height of your room instead of accepting whatever the box dictates. Adjust the direction of each lamp arm while tightening the nuts for the cleanest result.

Two configurations cover most dining layouts: three heads at sixty centimetres across, or five heads at seventy. Finishes span beige, white, wood grain and brass, so the chandelier can either recede into a neutral scheme or stand deliberately against it. Bulbs are not included. Each fixture is inspected and balanced before it leaves the warehouse, so it should hang true from the first day, and a licensed electrician is recommended for the install.
