Low Profile Landscape Bollard Light

• Extra small: L 7.9" x W 7.9" x H 3.9" / L 20 cm x W 20 cm x H 10 cm
• Small: L 11.8" x W 11.8" x H 5.9" / L 30 cm x W 30 cm x H 15 cm
• Medium: L 15.7" x W 15.7" x H 7.9" / L 40 cm x W 40 cm x H 20 cm
• Large: L 19.7" x W 19.7" x H 13.8" / L 50 cm x W 50 cm x H 35 cm
• Spacing: along a wall, path or driveway, set units 6–10 ft apart so the light pools overlap and no dark gaps form
• Setback: keep 12–18" back from the walking or driving edge, clear of foot traffic, mower lines and vehicle overhang
• Wall and pier mounting: center the fixture on the cap and check its footprint against the cap width before ordering — the body should sit within the surface, not overhang it
• Steps and level changes: mount low and to one side so light washes across the tread rather than back into the eye of anyone coming up
• Choosing a configuration: wired versions need a buried conduit stub brought up at the exact mounting point, set before paving or concrete is poured; the solar version needs 4–6 hours of direct sun on the top face and no cable route

The Low Profile Landscape Bollard Light from Solae Design takes the opposite approach to a tall lantern. The body is wide and low, so light is pushed outward across the surface it sits on rather than lifted into the sightline. On a boundary wall, a set of steps or a flat pier cap, that geometry does the useful thing — it shows you where the edge is without putting a bright point in your eyes.

Four sizes run from a compact 7.9 inch square up to a substantial 19.7 inch unit, which lets the same detail scale from a garden step to a driveway pier. Power options are broad: wired AC 85–265V for standard mains, DC 12V and DC 24V for existing low-voltage landscape circuits, and a solar-powered version for positions with no cable run. Warm light keeps the effect soft against stone, render and planting.

The fixture is built to sit outside permanently and be forgotten about. A sealed IP65 housing handles rain, dust and irrigation spray, and the matt black finish recedes in daylight so the wall reads as a wall rather than a row of fittings. Because the body is low and broad, it is also less exposed than a tall post to knocks from wheelbarrows, bins and garden traffic.

• Body material: metal housing with diffusing panels
• Finishes: black
• Light source: integrated LED
• Color temperature: warm light
• Mounting: hardwired on the wired versions; no wiring required on the solar version
• Moisture resistance: IP65 waterproof grade — do not immerse in water — outdoor use
• Power source options: wired AC 85–265V, wired DC 12V, wired DC 24V, or solar powered
• Best for: boundary walls, pier caps, steps, driveways and garden paths
