The Large Wood Frame Wall Clock from Solae Design uses wood for warmth and metal for precision, and lets the two materials do separate jobs. The circular wooden frame carries the mass and the color; the slim metal hands carry the information. Nothing else is asked to do anything, which is why the face stays quiet at a size where most clocks become busy.

The markers are minimal rather than absent. That distinction matters in practice: a clock with no markers at all looks elegant in a photograph and is annoying to read at an angle, while a few well-placed accents let you take the time in at a glance without printing a full numeral set across the grain. The wood is left visible rather than painted, so each piece varies slightly in grain and tone.

It is designed for straightforward wall mounting and the wood finish is maintained with nothing more than a dry cloth. Two sizes and three designs are offered, so the same idea can be scaled to a dining wall or a narrower hallway.
