The Elden Plaid Tasselled Throw from Solae Design carries a soft plaid in low-contrast neutrals, finished with a knotted tassel edge. The plaid is drawn wide and kept close in tone, so it reads as texture from across a room rather than as a strong graphic, which is what lets it sit in a room that already has pattern in it.
Weight is what makes it an all-season piece. It is light enough not to overheat in warmer months but knitted closely enough to hold warmth when it is cold, which is a narrower balance to strike than it sounds. The neutral beige ground means it sits against most upholstery without needing to be matched deliberately, and the low-contrast plaid does not compete with patterned cushions or a rug underneath.
Suited to a sofa back, a bed end, or a reading chair. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag to keep the tassels from tangling around each other, and dry flat away from direct heat. Straighten the fringe with your fingers while it is still damp so it dries hanging cleanly rather than kinked.
