Facette Brass & Crystal Chandelier

The Facette Brass & Crystal Chandelier from Solae Design pairs a warm brass body with hundreds of clear faceted crystals, each cut to work as a small mirror. The result is a fixture that never looks the same twice: a shifting shadow, a passing figure, a change in daylight all register across its surface throughout the day.

Brass is the reason it stays warm. Chrome and crystal together can read cold and clinical, but brass throws a honey cast back through the glass, softening the sparkle into something closer to candlelight. Four configurations are offered, from a compact 15.7 inch four-head to a 31.5 inch nine-head, so the piece can serve as a focal chandelier over a table or as a scaled ornament in a smaller room.

Best suited to a dining table, a stairwell, or an entrance hall with the height to let the crystals hang clear. The crystals are hand-hung and occasional re-levelling after installation is normal. Clean with a soft dry cloth and avoid ammonia-based sprays on the brass. Hardwired installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician following local codes. Crystals arrive individually wrapped and are hung on site during installation, which allows the final density to be adjusted to taste.
