The Compact Solar Border Cube Light is a self-contained lamp for gardens where running a cable was never going to happen. The body is a squat stainless steel cube with a diffusing top, so light lifts gently upward and outward instead of glaring sideways. Placed among low planting or beside a border it reads as a soft point of light rather than a fixture demanding attention.

Two sizes are offered, both small by design. The 8.3 inch unit is the more discreet, sized to sit within planting or on a low wall without competing with it. The 12.2 inch unit gives a broader spread and is the better choice where it stands alone on a lawn or gravel bed. Grouping several across a planted area works better than relying on one to cover the whole space.

Running on stored solar power, the lamp charges through the day and switches on automatically at dusk, with a handheld remote for manual control when needed. A full four to six hour charge returns roughly eight to ten hours of light, which covers a normal evening comfortably. The housing is sealed to IP65 against rain and irrigation. Placement is the one thing to get right — a spot in permanent shade will never give a full charge.
