Description
The Chrome Dome & Walnut Table Lamp from Solae Design pairs a polished chrome dome shade with a warm tapered walnut body. The contrast is the whole idea: cool reflective metal above, warm matte timber below, which is why it reads as considered rather than as either a retro pastiche or a plain minimalist lamp.
The chrome dome reflects light downward in a defined pool while the polished interior adds a second bounce, so the output is brighter on a surface than the modest 9.8 inch diameter would suggest. An integrated LED runs at a warm 3000K, so there is no lamp to source and no socket visible anywhere on the piece.
At 13.8 inches tall it suits a bedside, a living room console or a home office desk without dominating the surface. It plugs in via a 59 inch cord, so no electrician is needed at any stage. Place it on a stable level surface away from direct moisture and heat. The LED is sealed rather than replaceable, so contact us if a module ever needs attention. Walnut carries natural grain variation from one piece to the next, so no two bodies will be identical in figuring even within the same production run of the lamp.
