Description
The Carry Anywhere Patio Lantern is designed to be carried rather than installed. A stainless steel frame holds a broad acrylic diffuser, with proportions that stay understated wherever it ends up — on a patio table, at the edge of a lawn, beside a picnic blanket or at a campsite. Nothing about it announces itself, which is exactly what makes it easy to move from one setting to the next.
It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb up to 40W rather than running an integrated LED, so the light is yours to choose and the lantern outlives any single bulb. A filament bulb gives a warm, festive glow through the acrylic; a high-output LED bulb makes it a practical work light. Control is a simple push-button switch on the body, not dimmable, which keeps operation obvious in the dark.
The build is heavier than it looks at 8.8 lbs, and that is deliberate — it stays upright on grass and gravel and does not skate across a table in a breeze. The housing is sealed to IP65 for full outdoor exposure, and the polished, moulded and baked-paint finish is chosen to survive being knocked about rather than kept pristine. A driver is required; the lantern is mains powered rather than battery operated.
