2-Light Brass Gooseneck Linear Island Chandelier

The 2-Light Brass Gooseneck Linear Island Chandelier from Solae Design runs two curved arms down from a 41.3 inch brass spine, each ending in a shallow dome over a white glass globe. The curve is the whole idea. It carries the light source forward and downward toward the work surface, rather than leaving it tucked up against the ceiling where it does very little useful work. The result is a fixture that earns its place above a counter.

That geometry produces genuinely usable task light, and the glass globes keep glare off at eye level — which matters when a fixture hangs at seated height above an island and people are looking straight at it across the room. Fit dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer to take it from bright food preparation down to a low evening setting without changing anything else in the room.

Sized for a long kitchen island, a narrow dining table, or a breakfast bar where two points of light comfortably beat one. Antique brass warms a traditional or transitional kitchen, nickel suits a cooler contemporary palette, and black gives graphic contrast against pale cabinetry.
