3-Light Cut Glass Brass Vanity Sconce

The 3-Light Cut Glass Brass Vanity Sconce from Solae Design mounts three diamond-cut glass shades along an ornate antique brass backplate detailed with scrollwork and acanthus motifs. The cut facets are doing real optical work: they refract light rather than simply diffusing it, so the fixture scatters small points of brightness across a mirror and the wall behind.

Three equally spaced heads across 23.6 inches is the right geometry for a vanity. It lights a face from three directions at once, which removes the side shadow a single sconce leaves and the top shadow a downlight creates. That makes it genuinely useful for grooming rather than purely decorative above the basin.

Designed to mount above a bathroom mirror or across a double vanity, though it also works above a console in a hallway. Finished in antique brass with clear glass. It takes E12 or E14 candelabra lamps and dims with a compatible bulb and TRIAC dimmer. Hardwired with all mounting hardware included and a licensed electrician recommended for the install. Diamond-cut glass shows fingerprints and dust more readily than plain glass, so wipe the facets occasionally with a soft dry cloth to keep the refraction crisp and the sparkle working properly.
