Rivo Alabaster Linear Sconce

The Rivo Alabaster Linear Sconce from Solae Design arranges alabaster shades along a slim gold bar, from a single head up to nine. Each shade is a shallow cut cylinder; the bar behind them stays visually thin, so the fixture reads as a line of separate glowing points rather than one continuous fitting stretched across the wall.

Alabaster does the diffusing. Each shade is cut from natural stone, translucent enough to transmit light but dense enough to hold it, which produces a warm low-glare glow with no visible source. The one-head version is a compact 5.5″ accent; the nine-head runs to 30.7″ and behaves more like an architectural element than a lamp. Every configuration is available with a standard warm source or with Triac warm dimming, which matters most on the longer runs.

The shorter runs suit either side of a bathroom mirror or a bedside; the longer ones are intended for a hallway wall, above a headboard, or along a stairwell where the repeated points create rhythm. Alabaster is a natural stone and each shade carries its own veining, so a multi-head fixture will never look uniform. Dust with a soft dry cloth and avoid acidic cleaners. Hardwired installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician following local codes.
