The Ribbed Stone Bud Vase is a small carved vessel with a ribbed bubble silhouette, cut from either black gola marble with golden veining or from beige travertine. The ribbing runs vertically around the body, catching light along each ridge, and gives the piece a heavier, more brutalist character than a smooth vessel of the same size would ever have.

Sizing differs by material, which is worth noting when ordering. The marble versions measure 2.8 inches across at either 3.5 or 4.3 inches tall; the travertine versions are slightly larger at 3.5 inches across and 4.7 or 7.1 inches tall. Weight ranges from roughly 0.4 to 0.9 kilograms depending on size and stone density, so even the smallest one feels solid in the hand.

Despite the name, this is a genuinely versatile vessel rather than a single-purpose vase. It holds a taper candle, a tea light, a few stems, or nothing at all as a desktop object. The narrow opening suits single stems and short arrangements rather than full bouquets. Grouped in twos or threes at different heights it works better still. Use it on a console, a nightstand, a coffee table, or a desk. Wipe with a damp cloth, avoid harsh chemicals, and reseal periodically.
