Petite Alabaster Cylinder Pendant Light

The Petite Alabaster Cylinder Pendant Light from Solae Design suspends a slim cylinder of genuine alabaster from a brushed brass stem and canopy. The stone shade measures just 3.9 inches across and 7.9 inches tall, which makes this a genuinely small pendant, designed to be used in groups rather than alone above a large surface.

Alabaster transmits light rather than blocking it, so the shade glows from within and the natural veining reads clearly against the warm output. Each piece of stone is cut from a different block, so a run of three will show three distinct patterns. That variation is the point of using real stone rather than a moulded substitute.

Hang three or five above a kitchen island at even spacing, group them at staggered heights over a dining table, or use a single pendant to mark an entryway. Two finishes are offered in brass and antique brass. Hardwired with a 59 inch hanging wire and a three-segment rod to set the drop, and all mounting hardware is supplied with the fixture. It takes a standard E26 or E27 lamp and is dimmable with a compatible bulb and TRIAC dimmer, so a run over an island can drop to a low evening level.
