The Onyx Vein Wall Sconce pairs a hand-cut, hand-finished onyx body with a frosted white glass diffuser, so the fixture reads as tactile and warm rather than merely bright. Solae Design cuts every body from natural onyx, which means veining, tone and translucency shift from one lamp to the next and the piece you receive is genuinely one of a kind.

Nine stone variants are offered. White onyx is a pure luminous cream and the most versatile choice. Pink carries dusty blush and subtle rose veins. Light yellow reads neutral in daylight and glows amber after dark, while yellow runs to richer honey. Cyan is a soft sea green reminiscent of classical onyx, black and white is graphic and architectural, and the multi-patterned option swirls several earthy tones together.

The frosted glass diffuser softens the output into an even glow with no hot spot, and precision-machined matte hardware holds it all in place. At fourteen centimetres square it is small enough to flank a bed or run in sequence down a hallway. The lamp takes a single G9 bulb to a maximum of six watts, is hardwired to the wall, and is rated for indoor use only, so it should be kept well away from direct moisture.
