Tiered Alabaster Stone Wall Sconce

The Tiered Alabaster Stone Wall Sconce from Solae Design is alabaster throughout — body and shades both — so there is no metal anywhere to interrupt the material. Stacked discs of stone catch light at each level and pass it downward, building a layered glow that shifts subtly as you move past it rather than sitting completely static on the wall. Few fixtures at this price read as convincingly solid.

With no visible hardware the sconce reads almost architectural, closer to a wall detail than a fitting. That makes it a good choice in rooms where you want light without adding another object to look at: a pared-back bathroom, a Japandi bedroom, a hallway with clean plasterwork. The stone diffuses completely, so there is no glare at all even at close range beside a mirror.

One head suits a bedside or a narrow hall. Two suit a bathroom mirror where you need light at face height on both sides. Three make a genuine feature of a stairwell or an accent wall at 23.6 inches tall. Please note these use G4 bi-pin lamps at 110V line voltage — do not fit 12V low-voltage lamps, as they are not compatible with this fixture.
