Brass & Alabaster Globe Wall Sconce

The Brass & Alabaster Globe Wall Sconce from Solae Design sets a natural alabaster globe on a slim brass frame, drawn as a single clean oval from backplate to shade. Nothing interrupts the line. Because the stone is cut thin enough to transmit light, the whole globe glows from within rather than throwing a beam, and the veining reads clearly across its surface once the lamp is on.

At 18.1 inches tall and projecting only 5.9 inches, it has vertical presence without crowding a narrow wall. That combination suits a hallway you walk through rather than sit in, a bedside where a table lamp would take up surface, or a bathroom mirror where glare at face height is the usual problem. Stone diffuses fully, so there is none of it here.

Well suited to an entryway, a living room wall that already has enough overhead light, or a corridor run at even spacing. It takes a G9 lamp and dims with a compatible bulb and TRIAC dimmer switch.
