Fiore Alabaster Sconce

A quiet way to bring botanical form indoors, the Fiore Alabaster Sconce sets carved natural alabaster flowers against a brass arm. The stone diffuses light into something warm and slow, which is the difference between a lit room and a calm one. It is beautiful switched off as well as on, reading as sculpture on the wall during the day and softening into a glow at night.

Each flower is carved from genuine natural alabaster, so veining and translucency differ from piece to piece and from the product photography. That variation is the material behaving as stone does, not a fault in the item. The brass arm comes in two finishes and is built to a weight that feels substantial in the hand, with the warm metal setting off the organic stone rather than competing with it.
