Lumia Stone Column Sconce

An elongated column of alabaster, carved by hand and set against brass hardware that has been kept deliberately quiet. The Lumia Stone Column Sconce works in a contemporary room and an older one for the same reason: the material carries the design, so nothing about the shape has to argue for attention. The stone spreads light into a warm, even radiance with no glare and no hot spots.

Alabaster is quarried, not moulded, so every column arrives with its own veining, translucency and slight shift in colour. The photographs show representative pieces and yours will read a little differently, which is what buying real stone means. Two heights and two hardware finishes are chosen at checkout, black or brass, letting the sconce be scaled and toned to the wall rather than imposed on it.

One point to note before ordering: the fixture takes two G4 bi-pin bulbs at AC line voltage, not included. North American customers need AC 120V G4 bulbs and EU or Australian customers need AC 220V. Never fit 12V low voltage G4 bulbs, which are incompatible and can damage the fixture. Installation is hardwired to a standard wall box, hardware is supplied, and a licensed electrician is recommended.
