The Meander Line-Maze Area Rug from Solae Design carries a single continuous line that turns back on itself across the field, drawn from the meander motif — the interlocking key pattern found on classical borders. Here it is enlarged and spread across the whole surface rather than confined to an edge, which changes it from a trim into the subject of the rug.

The pattern is deliberately low-contrast. Because the line and the ground sit close in tone, the maze reads clearly from standing height but settles into texture when seen from across a room, which keeps it from dominating a space the way a high-contrast graphic rug would.
