Twin Dome Plug-in Brass Wall Sconce

The Twin Dome Plug-in Brass Wall Sconce from Solae Design runs frosted glass globes beneath slim antique brass dome shades along a horizontal arm. The symmetry is what makes it work: two or three equally spaced sources light a wall evenly rather than leaving the pooling and shadow that a single sconce always produces at one end.

Each dome caps its globe and pushes light downward, while the frosted glass softens what escapes below into a warm, glare-free glow. It takes E12 candelabra lamps, and pairs well with a dimmable bulb and in-line dimmer for evening use. The exposed cord is part of the look rather than something to hide.

Three widths are offered: a single head at 7.9 inches, two heads at 14 inches, and three at 28 inches for a genuinely long run. Because it plugs in rather than hardwires, it mounts above a console, alongside a headboard or over a sideboard without an electrician. Finished in antique brass with white glass throughout. All mounting hardware is included and the sconce fits a standard single-gang wall box, so it can also be hardwired later if you decide to remove the cord and commit the fixture permanently to the wall.
