Curved Arm Brass Pleated Chandelier

The Curved Arm Brass Pleated Chandelier from Solae Design sweeps long brass arms out and up in a single continuous curve, each one carrying a hand-pleated beige empire shade. It is a traditional silhouette drawn with a lighter hand than most: the arms are slender and the shades modest in proportion to the span, so the overall effect is generous and open rather than heavy or overbearing in a room.

Pleating breaks the light into narrow vertical bands, which reads warmer and softer than a smooth shade at exactly the same wattage. Multiplied across six or eight heads, that produces an even, flattering glow across a table rather than a hard pool in the centre of it. Fit dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer to run it low through a long dinner without losing warmth.

Six heads at 39.4 inches suit a standard dining room or a generous living room. Eight heads at 41.7 inches are built for a longer table or a foyer with real height to fill. The 19.7 inch chain trims on site to set the drop precisely, and the fixture is rated for sloped and cathedral ceilings. Choose black, brass or nickel. Supplied with all mounting hardware and rated for a standard ceiling junction box.
