The Column Stacked Resin Ceiling Light from Solae Design stacks resin cylinders in descending proportion, giving a flush-mount fixture genuine sculptural presence without dropping into the room. Most flush mounts solve the height problem by disappearing; this one solves it by being worth looking at while staying within 15 cm of the ceiling.

The base is hand-built, and the resin carries a chunky, slightly tactile quality that reads as made rather than moulded. The proportions do the work: each cylinder steps in from the one below it, so the form has a clear direction and a defined silhouette from every angle in the room. It is a wabi-sabi approach in the honest sense, where the irregularity is structural rather than decorative.
