The Terra Ceramic Geometry Sconce from Solae Design pairs a white glazed ceramic shade with brass hardware and a walnut accent. The glaze scatters the light into a warm wash instead of a beam, which is what separates a sconce you can read beside from one that puts a hot spot on the wall and glare in your eye.

Five shade geometries are offered, from a compact 13 cm cylinder to a broad 23 cm form, and all five share the same fittings and finish. That means they can be mixed along a single wall at different heights, or repeated identically through a hallway, without any adapter or visual mismatch between them. The walnut and brass detailing keeps the ceramic from reading as clinical.

Each sconce carries a 50 cm pull chain for switching at the fixture itself, which is the detail that makes it work beside a bed where no wall switch exists. It is also fully compatible with a standard wall switch, so it can be wired into an existing circuit and controlled from the door instead.
