Cascata Fluted Stone Sconce

Cut into a run of vertical flutes, the stone on the Cascata Fluted Stone Sconce does the work that a shade or diffuser would normally do. Light passes through the alabaster and comes out warm and slow, catching in the ridges so the surface never reads flat. The effect is closer to a lit stone object than a fixture, and it holds a bedroom or hallway wall on its own terms.

This is quarried alabaster rather than cast resin, and that distinction shows up in the weight, the cool touch and the way each piece ages. Grain runs anywhere from milky white to grey or amber veining, and no two fixtures repeat. A near-white piece signals high purity stone, not a fault. Veining cannot be specified, so contact us first if a project needs particular patterning.

Three heights share the same Triac dimmable warm LED. At roughly 3.9 inches wide the body is narrower than the 4 inch junction boxes standard across North America, so a 12 cm backplate is supplied at no cost to close the gap cleanly. Installation is hardwired, and a licensed electrician is recommended. Handle the stone as stone; it will patinate gently over the years rather than wear thin.
