8-Light Antique Brass Tiered Chandelier

The 8-Light Antique Brass Tiered Chandelier from Solae Design arranges eight tapered black bronze shades across two levels on a warm antique brass frame. Four sit on the upper tier and four below, which gives the fixture depth from every approach and stops it flattening into a single ring when seen from the doorway. At 35 inches across it is scaled to hold a room rather than decorate one corner of it.

The metal shades direct light downward in eight distinct pools rather than diffusing it. Over a dining table that produces good, usable light on the surface with comparatively little spill onto the walls, which is what keeps the room feeling intimate at night. Fit dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer to move it from working brightness down to a low evening level.

Built for a formal dining room, a grand entryway foyer, a high-ceilinged living room, or a home library with the vertical space to carry 26.4 inches of drop. The three-segment suspension rod fine-tunes the height and the fixture is rated for sloped and cathedral ceilings. Available in antique brass, with or without the black bronze shades. It fits a standard US round ceiling box, and a licensed electrician is recommended for the install given the weight of the frame.
