Vena Alabaster Linear Pendant

The Vena Alabaster Linear Pendant from Solae Design runs a single bar of natural alabaster above a dining table or kitchen island. Light passes through the stone rather than bouncing off it, picking up the veining from the inside so that the fixture glows unevenly in the way real material does. No two pieces are identical, and that is precisely the point of using stone.

An integrated LED source keeps the profile slim, at just 6 cm deep and 8 cm tall, and cuts energy consumption by up to 25 percent against comparable fittings. The result is a light that spans the length of a table without visually dividing the room, which is the usual compromise when covering a long surface with multiple pendants instead of one linear fixture.

Three lengths are available at 100, 120 and 150 cm, with Triac warm dimming versions for rooms that need to move between working light and evening light. The canopy is sized to conceal a standard ceiling rose, and the drop is adjustable at installation to suit the ceiling height. The standard LED source is not compatible with wall dimmer switches, so specify the Triac version if dimming is needed.
