It is a deliberately minor fixture — 6.5\" tall and projecting under four inches — designed to be used in numbers rather than as a single feature on an empty wall. Its restraint is the reason it repeats well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlabaster is the working material. Translucent enough to pass light and dense enough to hold it, the dome glows from within with a soft, low-glare warmth rather than casting a beam onto anything. Because the fixture sits so close to the wall, most of what you see is the lit stone itself and very little light reaches the floor.
